Government Engineering College, Bharuch is one of eight New Government Engineering Colleges established in July-2004. It was foresight to get talented engineers in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Library will be open from 10:30 AM to 06.10 PM.

Students should observe strict silence and switch off their mobile phones etc. in the library premises.

Student ID cards are compulsory for admission into the library and promptly displayed upon request by library staff.

Student ID cards are not transferable.

If students lost the ID cards, then they are required to contact the student section immediately. A replacement fees will be charge and a temporary card will be issued.

Students are not allowed to bring personal books or any printed material and other personal belongings like bags, umbrellas, etc. inside the library. These materials to be in the rack available in the library. Students are advised not to leave their precious and valuable items like money, passport and credit card etc. in their bag.

The books Issue period is 14 days for students and 6 months for faculty members.

Books must be returned on or before the due date, otherwise the fine of Rs. 01/- will be charged per day per book. If the book is lost, then fine to be paid will be double the cost of the book.

At the time of deposition of late fees, students are informed to collect receipt from the library.

Absenteeism & illness are not acceptable excuses for exemption from paying overdue charges.

If the due date falls on holiday declared, then students have to return their books on immediate next working days.

In spite of repeated reminders, if the book is not returned, the borrowing facility may be withdrawn for a period decided by the authority.

Readers should not write or mark anything in the issued book.

Students are not permitted to use the computers and multimedia equipment for unauthorized purposes or non-academic content.

Do not install or uninstall any programs in the computer.

It is mandatory for all members who are using facilities to follow the library rules & regulations. For any dispute or problem, contact the librarian.

All members of the library team are available for any assistance you may need in using the library resources, facilities & services. Library welcomes any suggestion for better use of library facilities.

All books are available with barcode for software based data management. All library services are managed by software (Soul 2.0).

Computer facility with internet connection is available to access the various free access resources.

Students are informed to register themselves on NDLI portal for free access of available books and journals.

With the help of Gujarat Technological University, Institute is facilitated with online access portal for free access of available books, journals and E-thesis.
